- External use

How to use Rosemary Essential Oil
Who it's for
Ideal for all skin types: in a massage it is restoring and invigorating. In your hair it brings vitality to the scalp, and its herbal scent helps you feel energised.
In your hair
Add 2-3 drops of rosemary to your usual amount of shampoo or hair mask, massage into the scalp for a couple of minutes and rinse.
Body massage
Mix 2-3 drops of rosemary into a tablespoon of carrier oil (sweet almond, jojoba…) and massage gently until absorbed. Never apply it neat.
In a diffuser
Add 5-6 drops of rosemary to your ultrasonic diffuser or nebuliser. Its herbal, invigorating scent is a good companion for work or study. Air the room now and then and do not diffuse for hours on end.
Dry inhalation
Put 1-2 drops of rosemary on a tissue or a personal inhaler and breathe in the scent when you need it, for example while travelling or at the office.
In the bath
Mix 4-5 drops of rosemary with a tablespoon of carrier oil, shower gel or bath salts before adding to the water: essential oils do not dissolve in water alone.
Precautions
For external use only: do not ingest. Patch-test on a small area before first use and keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or using it on children, ask a professional first. Keep tightly closed, away from light and heat. Avoid it if you have epilepsy or high blood pressure.
