- External use

How to use Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
Who it's for
Ideal for mature skin: antioxidant, it helps balance and cleanse the skin. Its floral scent is relaxing, balancing and gives you a boost of energy.
Body massage
Its scent is very intense: 1-2 drops per tablespoon of carrier oil is enough. Massage slowly until absorbed.
In your hair
Add 2-3 drops of ylang ylang to your usual amount of shampoo or hair mask, massage into the scalp for a couple of minutes and rinse.
In a diffuser
Add 5-6 drops of ylang ylang to your ultrasonic diffuser or nebuliser. Blend it with sweet orange or lavender to soften its scent. Air the room now and then and do not diffuse for hours on end.
In the bath
Mix 4-5 drops of ylang ylang with a tablespoon of carrier oil, shower gel or bath salts before adding to the water: essential oils do not dissolve in water alone.
Before sleep
Put 1-2 drops of ylang ylang on your pillowcase or pyjama collar as part of a winding-down ritual.
Precautions
For external use only: do not ingest. Patch-test on a small area before first use and keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or using it on children, ask a professional first. Keep tightly closed, away from light and heat.
