- External use

How to use Clove Essential Oil
Who it's for
Its warm, spicy scent is invigorating, and well diluted it gives a pleasant warming feeling in a massage.
In a diffuser
Add 2-3 drops of clove to your ultrasonic diffuser or nebuliser. Its warm, spicy scent pairs well with sweet orange in autumn and winter. Air the room now and then and do not diffuse for hours on end.
Around the home
For a room or linen spray: 10-15 drops of clove in 100 ml of water with a splash of alcohol. Shake before each use and mist onto curtains, sofa or bedding (test on a hidden area first).
On the skin (well diluted)
If you want to apply it, mix no more than 1 drop of clove per tablespoon of carrier oil and use it on small areas only, such as the soles of the feet. Never on the face.
Precautions
For external use only: do not ingest. Patch-test on a small area before first use and keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or using it on children, ask a professional first. Keep tightly closed, away from light and heat. It is very strong on the skin: no more than 1 drop per tablespoon of carrier oil, on small areas only and never on the face. Do not use on children.
