- External use
Always dilute essential oils in a vegetable oil before applying them to the skin. Do not ingest. Check with a professional if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have sensitive skin.
- On the skin
Diluted in a vegetable oil, it is ideal for body massages and helps improve the look of orange-peel skin. It is photosensitising: do not apply it before sun exposure.
- In diffusion
Its sweet, cheerful aroma creates a warm, calm and cosy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing.

How to use Lavender Essential Oil
In a diffuser
Add 5-6 drops of sweet orange to your ultrasonic diffuser or nebuliser. Its sweet, cheerful scent appeals to everyone and blends with almost any oil. Air the room now and then and do not diffuse for hours on end.
Body massage
Mix 2-3 drops of sweet orange into a tablespoon of carrier oil (sweet almond, jojoba…) and massage gently until absorbed. Never apply it neat.
In the bath
Mix 4-5 drops of sweet orange with a tablespoon of carrier oil, shower gel or bath salts before adding to the water: essential oils do not dissolve in water alone.
Around the home
For a room or linen spray: 10-15 drops of sweet orange in 100 ml of water with a splash of alcohol. Shake before each use and mist onto curtains, sofa or bedding (test on a hidden area first).
Before sleep
Put 1-2 drops of sweet orange on your pillowcase or pyjama collar as part of a winding-down ritual.
Precautions
For external use only: do not ingest. Patch-test on a small area before first use and keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or using it on children, ask a professional first. Keep tightly closed, away from light and heat. It is photosensitising: avoid sun exposure for 12 hours after applying it to the skin.
