How to use Lemon Essential Oil
Who it's for
Ideal for all skin types: balancing, it helps improve the look of dark spots. Its scent is refreshing and relaxing, and perfect for cleaning the home.
In a diffuser
Add 5-6 drops of lemon to your ultrasonic diffuser or nebuliser. Its fresh, clean scent is perfect for the kitchen or living room. Air the room now and then and do not diffuse for hours on end.
For cleaning
Add 10 drops of lemon to a spray bottle with water and vinegar for a fresh scent on surfaces (test on a hidden area first).
Dry inhalation
Put 1-2 drops of lemon on a tissue or a personal inhaler and breathe in the scent when you need it, for example while travelling or at the office.
Body massage
Mix 2-3 drops of lemon into a tablespoon of carrier oil (sweet almond, jojoba…) and massage gently until absorbed. Never apply it neat.
Precautions
For external use only: do not ingest. Patch-test on a small area before first use and keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or using it on children, ask a professional first. Keep tightly closed, away from light and heat. It is photosensitising: avoid sun exposure for 12 hours after applying it to the skin.
