Thyme Essential Oil

Well diluted, it is restoring for all skin types, especially oily and blemish-prone skin. Its intense scent is invigorating and refreshes the room.

Add 2-3 drops of thyme to your ultrasonic diffuser or nebuliser. It is a powerful scent, ideal for freshening the air at home in winter. Air the room now and then and do not diffuse for hours on end.

Put 1-2 drops of thyme on a tissue or a personal inhaler and breathe in the scent when you need it, for example while travelling or at the office.

If you want to apply it, mix no more than 1 drop of thyme per tablespoon of carrier oil and use it on small areas only, such as the soles of the feet. Never on the face.

For a room or linen spray: 10-15 drops of thyme in 100 ml of water with a splash of alcohol. Shake before each use and mist onto curtains, sofa or bedding (test on a hidden area first).

For external use only: do not ingest. Patch-test on a small area before first use and keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or using it on children, ask a professional first. Keep tightly closed, away from light and heat. It is very strong on the skin: no more than 1 drop per tablespoon of carrier oil, on small areas only and never on the face. Do not use on children.
